M590A1 with Iron Sights and laser for close-range denial, SMG-11 with Holo A, Flash Hider, Vertical Grip and laser as a full backup, and Nitro Cell as the default utility.

Why it works

Mute spends most of the round near his jammers, which means predictable short-range engagements: the M590A1's raw stopping power matters more here than reach, and the laser speeds up aiming down sights for those close trades. The SMG-11 is the real second weapon, with Flash Hider controlling its vertical climb and Holo A plus the laser keeping target acquisition fast.

Who it is best for

Players anchoring the reinforced wall and denying drones.

Attachment roles: the laser aids aiming speed, the angled grip aids reload speed, and the horizontal grip aids movement speed. Ubisoft attachment rework. Check available options in game.

Put Mute's loadout into practice

Make attacker information harder to obtain in an area the defense intends to hold. Choose whether each jammer's main job is obstructing a drone route or interfering with electronics at a surface. Do not assume one placement does both jobs well.

Weapon and utility choices

The M590A1 and SMG-11 pairing can handle soft preparation and automatic follow-up, provided you practise the secondary's bursts. The MP5K shifts the main gunfight back to a conventional automatic primary. A bulletproof camera can add a view after drones are denied; a nitro cell needs timely information and a safe opportunity to deploy.

A round plan

Check the drone entrances before placing jammers. Inspect the placement from a low attacker viewpoint and ask whether it is exposed before it affects the intended approach. After preparation, move to a position that benefits from reduced information while still watching for a player entry.

A mistake to avoid

Treating denied drones as proof the room cannot be attacked. Denial changes the information available to the attacker; it does not physically guard the doorway for you.

Try this with a teammate

Ask a teammate to drone the room using two entrances. Note which route is interrupted and which still gives a useful view. Move the jammer or assign a defender to the remaining route instead of assuming the first stopped drone proves full coverage.
