Privacy Policy

Clerk handles sign-in, verification, passwords and login sessions. It processes the information you provide when registering, such as your email address and connected sign-in account. R6Guide does not store your password in its database.

Our database stores your account ID, linked Clerk user ID, public username and account creation date. We use these to identify the setups you own and manage access to your saved drafts. Manage your username and sign-in details in My account.

Saving a setup stores its title, description, map, defender lineup, placements, wall changes, preview image and creation or update dates. Private drafts require your account to view or edit. Publishing makes the setup and your public username visible to other visitors. Your email address is not shown on setup cards.

In My Setups you can edit, rename, duplicate, unpublish or delete your own setups. Unpublishing removes public access through the site, but cannot remove screenshots or copies someone has already made.

The planner also saves draft information and preferences in your browser. These local copies can remain after signing out or deleting an online setup. Clearing R6Guide site data in your browser removes them and may erase unsaved work.

Loadout votes contain your selected operator, patch, weapons, attachments and gadgets. Rank, platform, queue type and game mode are optional, self-reported details. We use this information to produce community results and filters.

Anonymous loadout votes use a random browser identifier. The database stores a keyed hash of it, rather than the raw cookie value. It is separate from your account and is not linked to your name or email.

Setup upvotes use an account-derived identifier to keep one active upvote per account and setup. Clicking again removes that upvote. Vote data is used for community results and is not sold.

Clerk uses authentication cookies to maintain your session. Our anonymous voting cookie, r6g_vid, lasts up to one year and allows a new loadout vote to replace your earlier one. Clearing that cookie leaves earlier votes in the totals but removes your browser's ability to update them.

Browser storage also remembers planner drafts, defender selections and whether you have completed or skipped the tutorial. You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking authentication cookies may prevent account features from working.

We measure successful setup saves, publications, votes, account completion and community-link and affiliate-link clicks, alongside 3D loading times and failures. These custom events do not include your setup text, placements, username or email. Vercel Speed Insights measures loading and interaction performance.

Turn off analytics in this browser. This preference is stored locally. You can turn analytics back on.

Vercel Web Analytics measures traffic such as page views, referring sites and device or browser information without analytics cookies. See Vercel's analytics privacy information.

Google Analytics is also included where enabled. It can use cookies to measure visits and interactions. Google AdSense is not currently enabled. If we enable it, it may process browser and device information and use cookies or similar technologies for advertising and measurement.

Our site analytics can record the public player, product and gear category when you click a link. Turning off R6Guide analytics stops that measurement in this browser; it does not change Amazon's practices after you leave our site.

We use service providers for authentication, hosting, database storage, analytics and advertising. They process information needed to provide those services. Hosting and authentication systems may process request details, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our application uses hashed identifiers for voting and rate limiting.

Private means a setup is restricted from other visitors, not that it is encrypted so only you can read it. Authorized service administration may require access to stored information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Use Delete account in My account to remove your login, local account record, account-owned setups and account-linked setup upvotes. Anonymous loadout votes remain separate and are not removed by deleting an account.

We retain saved setups and account records while they remain in use until they are deleted. Anonymous votes may remain for historical results. Deletion from the active database does not necessarily remove provider logs or backup copies immediately; those follow the providers' retention processes.

For questions or requests about access, correction or deletion of your information, use our contact page. We may need to verify that you own the relevant account before acting on a request. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.
