AK-74M with Magnified A, Compensator and laser for a rifle that rewards controlling the vertical climb yourself, .44 Vendetta with laser as a backup, and Frag Grenades for direct damage on anchors and utility.

Why it works

Compensator is the pick when you already keep the AK-74M controlled vertically and horizontal drift is what actually costs you during a spray; it's less forgiving than Flash Hider, but it rewards that control. Magnified A gives Deimos the reach to confirm a target at range, and the laser speeds up aiming down sights for the close trades that follow. The .44 Vendetta carries the same laser as a consistent backup.

Who it is best for

Players who want Frag Grenades as the default utility: direct damage against anchors and utility that pairs with Deimos's own tracking-focused playstyle.

Attachment roles: the laser aids aiming speed, the angled grip aids reload speed, and the horizontal grip aids movement speed. Ubisoft attachment rework. Check available options in game.

Put Deimos's loadout into practice

Use DeathMARK to coordinate pressure on one defender, not to turn every detection into a solo chase. Tracking also exposes Deimos's location, so choose a position that remains defensible after the target knows where you are. A teammate approaching from another angle can make the information more useful than a direct duel.

Weapon and utility choices

Practise the .44 Vendetta first: it is the weapon available during tracking. The AK-74M supports ordinary rifle fights outside that phase; the M590A1 requires a closer-range plan. Choose hard breach utility when the route requires reinforced access, or fragmentation utility when access is already covered and the team can identify a useful target area.

A round plan

Clear the route to your staging position, tell a teammate which defender you are pressuring, then start the track. Call location and movement while your teammate holds the escape. Stop advancing if the path is unaccounted for; knowing the target does not reveal their supporting players.

A mistake to avoid

Following the marker through a doorway while ignoring the rest of the room. The target can retreat behind another defender and let that player take the first fight.

Try this with a teammate

Use a custom round with a target and a supporting teammate. Practise calling the tracked movement while holding cover. Then let your partner take the second angle instead of racing them to the marker.
