TCSG12 slug shotgun with Suppressor and laser, LFP586 with laser as a backup, and Nitro Cell for an information-led defensive response.
Why it works
The TCSG12 is a slug shotgun for paced shots from cover. Choose a position where you can recover between shots rather than relying on automatic follow-up fire. The laser aids aiming speed; the LFP586 is the backup when switching weapons is more practical than reloading. Compare the AUG A3 if your position regularly requires automatic bursts against moving targets.
Who it is best for
Players who want Nitro Cell as the default utility: real damage against a stack or a plant, which pairs with the hard-breach denial his own claws already provide.
Attachment roles: the laser aids aiming speed, the angled grip aids reload speed, and the horizontal grip aids movement speed. Ubisoft attachment rework. Check available options in game.

Put Kaid's loadout into practice
Make the attackers spend time dealing with a reinforced surface that matters to your defense. Choose the hatch or wall by the route it would give them, rather than electrifying whatever is nearest your spawn. An intact wall is useful only if the team can still contest the other entrances.
Weapon and utility choices
The AUG A3 gives you an automatic primary for follow-up bursts. The TCSG12 is a slug shotgun: treat it as a deliberate single-shot choice, not a spread shotgun for sweeping a doorway. Compare a narrow hold and a moving target with both. If you bring a nitro cell, identify who will provide the information for its use before the round starts.
A round plan
Reinforce the intended surface, place the Electroclaw, and check that the surface is actually electrified. Inspect whether an attacker can expose the claw from another room or floor. Once the attack commits elsewhere, keep your weapon ready instead of repeatedly checking a wall nobody is pressuring.
A mistake to avoid
Assuming a hidden claw is also a protected claw. A soft surface nearby may let an attacker destroy it without taking the intended wall fight. Have a fallback position for when denial is removed.
Try this with a teammate
Ask a teammate to find two ways to reach or see your claw from the attacker's side. Reposition it, then repeat. Record which approach still needs a defender's attention rather than calling the placement unbeatable.
