M249 SAW with Magnified A, Compensator and laser for an LMG that rewards controlling the vertical climb yourself, the Super Shorty as a fully fixed backup, and Frag Grenades for direct damage on anchors and utility.
Why it works
Compensator is the pick when you already keep the M249 SAW controlled vertically and horizontal drift is what actually costs you through a long burst; it's less forgiving than Flash Hider, but the LMG's sustained fire rewards that control. Magnified A gives Gridlock the reach to use it at range rather than just up close, and the laser speeds up aiming down sights for closer trades. The Super Shorty only offers Iron Sights and nothing else, so it's mostly a fixed pick with a laser on top.
Who it is best for
Players who want Frag Grenades as the default utility: direct damage against anchors and utility that pairs with the caltrops Gridlock is already dropping to control space.
Attachment roles: the laser aids aiming speed, the angled grip aids reload speed, and the horizontal grip aids movement speed. Ubisoft attachment rework. Check available options in game.
