A control-first setup so Ace can open a wall and immediately contest it.

Why it works

Ace frequently fights straight after deploying his gadget, from a position the defence already knows about. Recoil control matters more here than raw handling speed, and the laser speeds up aiming down sights for that first exchange. The P9 mirrors it with Muzzle Brake and the same laser attachment for a consistent backup.

Who it is best for

Players who want Stun Grenades as the default utility: they disorient the room right as Ace's charge finishes opening the wall, covering the push through it.

Attachment roles: the laser aids aiming speed, the angled grip aids reload speed, and the horizontal grip aids movement speed. Ubisoft attachment rework. Check available options in game.

Put Ace's loadout into practice

Create a reinforced-wall opening that supports the team's next action. Before deploying S.E.L.M.A., choose whether the opening is for pressure, a player route or an objective play. The team should know which angle will become dangerous once the wall opens.

Weapon and utility choices

Use the AK-12 when you want a rifle for the fights around the breach. The M1014 asks you to build around much closer engagements; choose it only when that job is intentional and the team can cover the range you give up. Decide secondary utility with the squad's plan, especially who will handle access and cover after the wall is breached.

A round plan

Check the intended wall and coordinate with teammates dealing with denial. Deploy from a position where you can return to cover, then let the opening create pressure before committing through it. Keep track of another route so every attacker does not line up at the same breach.

A mistake to avoid

Treating a successful breach as permission to plant or enter immediately. The opening may expose the objective to another defender angle. Use information and covering players to identify which parts of the room remain contested.

Try this with a teammate

In a custom match, open a wall and ask a defender to hold two different positions behind it. From the attacker's side, identify what you can clear from safety and what needs a second angle. Build the next step around that answer.
